请帮忙 (qǐng bāngmáng) is a polite and common way to ask for help in Mandarin Chinese. It's suitable for most situations where you need assistance from someone.
When to use it
Polite and neutral. For a softer request, you can add 一下 (yīxià) after 帮我 (bāng wǒ), like 请帮我一下. For a more urgent or serious situation, especially an emergency, use 救命 (jiùmìng), which means "Help!" or "Save me!".
